The art of magic has fascinated me since childhood. A magician can make the world a better place through spellbinding entertainment—especially those with a twinkle in their eye and a smile in their voice. Striving to be that kind of heartfelt performer, as well as teacher, has always been a driving force throughout my career.
Experience
My performance history spans 40+ years—that's thousands of magic shows for public and private audiences. This experience is grounded in 30+ years as a magic shop owner and demonstrator. Since 2004, I own and operate a successful magic club in the San Francisco Bay Area. Close-up magic is my specialty, which gives me a unique and practical understanding of what really works.
Expertise
The schooling of magic is twofold—learning how it works and how to perform it. I got my start by studying books on magic, but without mentorship, I wouldn't have come to fully understand its real secrets and the wonder experienced by an audience. Learning from others and studying magic literature go hand in hand, and that's my mission.

I'm a husband, father, grandfather, friend, artist, magician, business owner, teacher of magic, and impresario of all things magical. I opened a magic store in 1977, and it evolved into a club for dinner and theater as of 2004. The love of magic has dominated my life, and this website is the ultimate expression of my devotion to it.
